Out at Bygdøy, you can walk straight onto the polar ship Fram. It's pretty cool to see how Nansen and Amundsen actually lived while stuck in the ice. You can explore the cargo hold and the tiny cabins, which feels way more real than just looking at stuff behind glass. It’s dark and a bit cramped inside the ship, giving you a proper sense of life at sea. The museum also has exhibits on northern lights and expeditions if you want to see more.

It's easy to lose track of time when you're exploring a ship. It feels more like an adventure than a stiff museum visit.
What to order
Go all the way down into the hull of Fram. Since Kon-Tiki is right next door, you might as well visit both while you're there.
