Gressholmen is just a short boat ride from Aker Brygge, but it feels like a different world. You'll find old wooden houses, paths through the brush, and smooth rocks by the sea. It's nice to walk around the island before settling down. There are fewer people here than on Hovedøya, so it's a bit more low-key.

The boat trip out sets a nice mood, and the paths on the island are made for strolling and talking.
What to order
Stop by Gressholmen Kro for a cold beer in the garden or a simple bite to eat after your walk.
