This is the grassy hill right under the fortress. During summer, they set up outdoor seating, and you get a clear view of the City Hall and the boats. It is one of those spots in town where it is easy to just sit down and people-watch. If it gets chilly, you are close to everything else downtown.
Why it works
It is super casual and costs nothing. A nice place to meet and check the vibe before moving on.
What to order
Bring a mat if you are planning to sit on the grass. Take a stroll up to the fortress once it starts getting dark.
