Norwegian Maritime Museum
Bygdøynesveien 37, 0286 Oslo, Norge 1 h 30 min
This is arguably the most underrated museum at Bygdøy. You can wander calmly between old ship models and large paintings while having a natural conversation. Large windows let in plenty of light and offer a stunning view of the Oslo Fjord. The outdoor area is just as lovely as the exhibits themselves. The smell of salt water and the sound of waves make for a much more relaxed atmosphere than a busy city center cafe.
