Rent a board or a kayak down at Sørenga and get out on the water. It's a completely different feeling paddling past the Opera and seeing the city from the sea. You don't need to be a pro; it's pretty easy to get the hang of it. Just remember there's some boat traffic further out, so stay close to the shore.
