This is a tiny jungle hidden inside a regular apartment building near St. Olavs plass. You'll find everything from boa constrictors to small monkeys and spiders. It's quite cramped and intimate inside, which means you get close to both the animals and each other while walking around.
Why it works
If the conversation stalls, you can always look at a chameleon or a tarantula. It never gets boring.
What to order
Go on a Tuesday at five. That's when they feed the snakes, and it's actually pretty fascinating to watch.

Tuesday afternoons when it's less crowded.
